Wow, that stupid TV execis right; how foolish of me to assume that a network that broadcasts Battlestar Galatcica, Stargate, Star Trek reruns (and so on) would only be enjoyed by fans of Science Fiction!

I’m sure the next time I tune in to Sci-Fi/Syfy/whatever-the-fuck I’ll get to watch football games and Golden Girls reruns and a Police Academy movie marathon. A network that obviously caters to nerds should never make that clear, right?

When I see syfy, I think of syphilis. So I would not call this a smart idea. Also, the whole “Geeks and nerds are not cool” thing kind of died out once everyone realized the geeks and nerds were really onto something with videogames.

Then again, with BSG ending this Friday, we can all forget the syphilis channel exists, since it will have nothing worth watching anymore anyways.
