For the first time since their montage set to Green Day, the cast of “Seinfeld” will appear in a scripted show together when they guest-star on HBO’s “Curb Your Enthusiasm” next season, which of course stars ‘Seinfeld” co-creator Larry David, who plays a jackass similar to Jason Alexander’s George Costanza, who in turn was based on Larry David. AHHHHH META!!!!
The four stars of NBC’s long-running comedy… will be featured in a multiple-episode story arc on HBO’s Curb Your Enthusiasm this fall… No date has been set for this event, or for Curb’s seventh season, which will run for 10 weeks...
The episodes, which are currently shooting in Los Angeles, appear to represent a continuation of David’s relationship with the Seinfeld stars.
I’m not ordinarily a huge fan of “Curb” (rude/awkward ≠ funny), but I’ll probably tune in to this. I’d like to see Larry David tweak Jason Alexander about being responsible for every accolade he’s ever gotten. I’d also like to see some more last names that aren’t first names.

Dude! You dont like “Curb Your Enthusiasm”, “Flight of the Conchords” or “According to Jim”
So you hate really bad comedy and hate really good comedy.
Based on this I am going to say your favorite comedy show is “My Name is Earl”. Not great, not bad but maybe just right. Either that or Cops. Trailer trash fighting with no shoes on is something we all can laugh at.
Yayayay! This is going to be AMAZING. I’m sure of it. Larry David will do a brilliant job writing something ridiculously clever for this.
I wonder how they’ll approach Michael Richards in the episode? I mean, last we saw of him, he was spewing racist BS during a stand-up gig. Yikes!
Regardless, will NOT curb my enthusiasm. I blogged about it too: http://squareeyes.blinkx.com/?p=415
WWSM? beat me to it.
If the writers have any sense of humor, they’ll just put Richards and Wanda Sykes in a room and let them fight it out Thunderdome-style.
Curb Your Enthusiasm is still on?
I will only watch if Michael Richards promises to get drunk and offend at least three different minority groups.
