Hey people, couple things. First of all, for you commenters — bless your hearts — avatars are back, and finally full-size. For those of you wondering why you can’t get a handy-dandy account like at With Leather and FilmDrunk, it’s because the good people at Uproxx are working on developing a commenting system that will allow people to have one commenting account that will work across With Leather, FilmDrunk, and this fine site. They expect it to be ready in the next month or two, so we thought it would be redundant to make everyone sign up for a new account, then change everything up a month later.
The other thing that’s going on is that I’ll be offline most of the morning because Time Warner can only give me a four-hour block of time for when it might show up to fix the cable and Internet that it f-cked up in the first place. Thanks guys! I’m only a TV blogger, I hardly need TV or the Internet.
The good news: I’ve prepared a very special treat to get you through the morning while I’m gone. Stay tuned.

WWTDD isn’t owned by Uproxx.
Matt, do you realize that your search page is completely fucked.
What about WWTDD? I’ve been trying to comment there for a while but their standards appear too high.
ooooh…a surprise? Is it the results of my paternity test?
Since obviously I can’t choose a nickname wisely as requested by Gravatar, I’ll just pretend I have an avatar. Plus I can’t top MerK’s anyway. mmm, 50. Why don’t we drink some Laurentide while we’re at it?
@sex cannon – if i had a nickle….
no seriously, I’m not an idiot and this shit ain’t working, maybe i’ll wait the suggested 5 to 10 minutes for it to work.
Went to the site. Saw this sentence: To request a gravatar from our servers, you simply add an image to your users activity with an “src” attribute that points to our gravatar image generator and includes an MD5 hash of the user’s email address.
Of course!
alright.. lets try this again.
UPDATE: Go here for your avatar upload.

“the good people at Uproxx”? harrumph. Has it occurred to “the good people at Uproxx” that some commenters might prefer to have separate avatars/accounts for each site? Getting the latest comments feature back would be more appreciated.
Awe Horsefeathers!
YAY! Avatars?
Man these blank avatars are fantastic. If Vince FilmDrunk can’t get one, where’s the hope for the rest of us losers?
I like treats! *claps flippers together*
Wait, did you *tell* them you’re a TV blogger? And they still didn’t push you to the front of the line?
