After the jump is Vingt-Quatre Heures, a teaser trailer of sorts for “24″ if the show had been a French film made in the 1960s. I hate to admit it, but it’s pretty excellent, from the dialog to the aesthetic to the little details like the poster and naming the main character “Jacques Baudeur” (in a perfect world, the actor playing him is Quifaire Sudreterres). As you can imagine, the French Jack Bauer is in a little less of a rush than the American one.
I say “hate to admit” because this is all part of an ad campaign by Stella Artois (watch the video carefully for subtle product placements). The other films in the campaign are 8 Kilomètres (8 Mile as a beat poetry reading) and a Die Hard 3 re-imagining called Dial Hard, which was my favorite. (See both of those over at FilmDrunk.)
None of this, however, should encourage you to drink Stella Artois. It’s just a nicer version of Heineken, which is about the faintest praise I can give a beer. Other than “Hey, if it’s good enough for teenagers…”

…hey, it’s way better than Zima
Ah, the french. So lazy, so weak.
I’d rather watch the french show about the crabby doctor that solves medical mysteries….”Chateau”.
Y’see what I did there?
“We only have 24 hours to save them”
“But it’s Saturday…”
haha…CLASSIQUE!
