Tom Brady, the New England Patriots quarterback and newlywed husband to Gisele Bundchen, will appear on an episode of “Entourage” next season.  Because that’s what famous people do.  They get cameos on “Entourage.”  From E! Online:

The handsome football star is set to appear on the next season of HBO’s Entourage, which will film next week in Los Angeles.  “He will be playing himself at a celebrity golf tournament,” a HBO publicist tells E! News.

Whoopty-doo.  Listen, I hate “Entourage” just as much as the next person with taste.  But I just can’t spew the same vitriol at it that I used to.  A lot of celebrities like the show because it’s about celebrity.  Most people in the entertainment industry like it because it’s about the entertainment industry.  Douchebags like it because it’s about douchebags.  And I’m not going to change the minds of actors or douchebags or douchebag actors by pointing out that the show is totally unfunny and a completely false portrayal of how a group of male friends interact, so I’ll just let it go.  This time.
