Last weekend, the entire cast of “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia performed two live shows at the Troubadour in L.A., and while the quality of footage isn’t great, fans of the show will probably want to watch “The Nightman Cometh” — the Season 4 finale that’s a mini-musical — performed live.  Via IGN, Matthew Gonzales says:

[H]opefully, it will still give you some idea of how awesome the show was. The cast did the entire episode and everyone was there from Artemis to Frank to the Waitress. They even did extra songs that weren’t in the episode but helped complete the linear story of the play (this includes Dennis preforming Charlie’s original Dylan-esque nightman song with Mac joining in for the second half). The show was hilarious and it was an amazing experience seeing one of my favorite T.V. shows preformed live–especially in the intimate setting of the Troubador.

He’s definitely right about the Troubadour.  That place (along with Father’s Office in Santa Monica) is one of the few redeeming things about L.A.  I mean, besides all the fake boobs.

Confused and bored by all this talk about a show you don’t watch?  Don’t worry, I’ve got videos after the jump that should color things in a little bit.
