weeds-season5-posterPredictably enough, Showtime used the 4/20 hype yesterday to release the poster for the upcoming Season 5 of “Weeds,” starring the excellent Mary-Louise Parker.  I’ve searched all over for a higher-resolution image, but this is as good as I can do for now (click for full size).

It seems to be in line with the theme of previous seasons’ promotions, all of which can be filed under “Looks like I’ll be violating that Mary-Louise Parker restraining order.”  I’ve included the thumbnails below for your personal reference.  Technically, the stills from the show of her getting spanked aren’t a promotion for “Weeds.”  And yet they are.  Oh, they so are.

(True story: A long time ago, I went on a date with Parker’s personal assistant.  Me: “What’s Mary-Louise like?  Is she nice?  Where does she live?  Have you ever seen her naked?”  I can’t imagine why I never saw her again.)
