In order to celebrate their 20th year on the air, the U.S. Postal Service will honor “The Simpsons” by giving them their own series of stamps (my submissions pictured here).
The 44-cent first-class mail stamps, designed by Simpsons creator and executive producer Matt Groening, will feature Homer, Marge, Bart, Lisa and Maggie Simpson, the nuclear family at the center of the animated Fox series.
Thanks for telling us who the Simpsons are. So nice of the AP to take into consideration readers who have spent the last two decades living in a cave.
Also, um, the price of a stamp is going up from 42 to 44 cents? Golly, that’s going to really hit my wallet hard, the one time every two months I have to mail something.

I’m not familiar with this show. It’s a cartoon of some sort?
Where’s my spy camera?
Excellent.
It was during the 13th hour of the 13th day of the 13th month. We were there to discuss the misprinted school calendars. Lousy Smarch weather.

Worst. Postage. Ever.

Fail!
Young man! I need to send this missive to the Prussian consulate in Siam – posthaste! Am I too late for the afternoon auto-gyro?
+1 WDYA.
Ahoy Hoy!
The omission of a Stampy stamp pains me deep into my very soul. This is grounds for an all-out assault on the post office. I just hope mail carriers aren’t well-armed.
