Two Mules for Sister Sara (AMC) — In this 1970 Western, mercenary Clint Eastwood and nun Shirley MacLaine get caught up in the Mexican Revolution.  If I remember correctly, there was a great deal of political upheaval about how Sister Sara used her mules, and the fighting eventually resulted in the Treaty of Tijuana.

Real Housewives of New York City (Bravo) — Ugh, that Kelly is such a BITCH!  I can’t stand her!  What’s that?  She’s posing for sexy Halloween photos in tonight’s episode?  Well, maybe I can tolerate a few minutes…

American Idol (Fox) — The seven finalists sing disco tunes, finally answering the question “How can Fox make ‘American Idol’ even MORE interminable?
