God, this shit is so stupid. IT’S NOT DEFAMATION IF YOU’RE THE ONLY ONE WHO KNOWS YOU’VE BEEN DEFAMED. If I were a lawyer, I’d go, “We’re prepared to offer you a settlement,” then reach into my pocket like I was getting the settlement out, but then when I pulled my hand out it would be empty and I’d flip them the bird.
