05.06.09The Florence & White Ford dealership came up with a great idea for a commercial: have a cute kid be the spokesperson! Except it would take, like, an entire day to get the kid to say all the lines, and they only rented the cameras for an hour, so… HEY! I know! Let’s just paste a creepy man’s mouth over the kid’s face! Great work, everybody! Now go home and enjoy a nice night of this child haunting your dreams.

I found the grunt at the very end more disturbing than anything else.
Now now Ufford, give the kid a break. Public speaking is hard, even when you get more than one take. Besides, for all you know he may have some sort of mental disability…which would mean, of course, that he has super-human strength…*gulp*…um…pleasant dreams?

At least the E-trade commercials are somewhat funny, which helps ease the creepiness factor. This is just wrong.
