05.26.09Granted, I have a sick mind that tries to misconstrue everything I hear into something sexual, but for the life of me I don’t know what the woman in this old Dawn commercial (“It gets the grease out”) could possibly be saying other than “Do you want a blowjob?” Is it an outtake? A forgery? Is she saying something else I can’t decipher? I don’t know. Personally, I’m kinda hoping that the early ’80s were so awesome that people in commercials could say, “This is a great product! Let’s f-ck.” That’s way better than the early ’80s I remember.

One of the most mind-numbing jobs for people in video production is shooting commercials. It’s droll, but also surreal in that you have to direct actors to say lines that are completely alien to how people really act. Add to that, you have (douchebag) marketing people on set tweaking everything possible.
So how do you ease the situation and keep the mood light enough so everyone can work well? You shoot a few takes of dumb jokes like “Want a blowjob?” It’s just there to make the cast & crew laugh. It was never intended to be shown publicly.
She deffinetely says “Do you want a pork chop?”. Audio recording back in the day was absolutely horrible. Pork=greasy. Dawn destroys grease. Pork chop + dawn= grease that will get destroyed.

Yeah, I’d bet money on outtake. This is actually remarkably similar to that scene from Shark Attack 3 where the actor ad libbed the pussy line, but they kept it in. In each case we have a horribly cheesy product with the mood being lightened with sexual innuendo. Furthermore, in each case the scene cuts out immediately after the line is delivered because, if you look closely, in both cases the other actor was going to break.
Either someone went well out of their way digging through old ass archives and getting this digitized, or perhaps more likely it was assembled when it was originally shot as an in house joke and was passed around so that someone eventually threw it up on the net.

If you look at the commercial she’s holding a fishing rod, (“Best Catch I’ll ever make”) She’s no-where near a kitchen, so why the hell would she be saying Pork-chop?

Pork Chop my ass. That is “Do you want a blow job”. Pork chop doesn’t even fit. She made a back handed insult that Dawn was the best catch she ever made and upon realizing it tries to recover with “Do you want a blow job?”. I would have to say that this was indeed a case where the actors were having fun with the crew and somewhere along the line someone put in the end cap for the commercial. I seriously doubt it ever aired or even left the studio.

Look at the YouTube artist’s page. He’s a guy who specializes in spoofing things by redubbing them. She is saying “do you want a blow job” but only because the audio artist added it.
It takes less than 2 minutes to do minor research to find this out.
