As previously reported, Will Ferrell will be on an upcoming episode of “Man vs. Wild” as part of a a promotion for Land of the Lost (as Jem would say: “Synergy!”), and judging by the preview, Ferrell improves “Man vs. Wild” dramatically.  Usually I find the show pretty dull, as I spend most of the hour waiting for Bear Grylls to eat feces and tell me how bad it tastes.  So having Ferrell along to make fun of all the staged survival acts works for me.  I also enjoy fart noises and watching people getting hit in the groin, though, so take that for what it’s worth.

Also, I know that the show is supposed to be a little more transparent since the controversy over Grylls staying in hotels, but I think it’s good to stay skeptical of what goes on.  I mean, Man vs. Wild wasn’t even a real Supreme Court case.
