05.14.09 WHAT’S ON TONIGHT: ‘30 ROCK’ SEASON FINALE

30 Rock (NBC) — The entire block of NBC’s Thursday night comedies are all having their season finales tonight (including what will likely be the last-ever “My Name Is Earl”).  “30 Rock” seems especially loaded, with another appearance from Alan Alda as Jack’s father, plus Mary J. Blige, Elvis Costello, and Clay Aiken (he’s Kenneth the Page’s cousin).  Watch preview clips here.

Grey’s Anatomy (ABC) — Ugh, a two-hour season finale.  One of my roommates watches this steaming pile of rancid estrogen.  In a related story, I’m moving out next month.

Real Housewives of New York City (Bravo) — This is part 2 of the reunion show.  It was supposed to only be an hour, but the hissing and clawing went on for so long that the producers decided to make two shows from it.  Sounds delightful.

Supernatural (CW) — Holy crap, I can’t believe this is still on the air.  I saw a single episode of this another lifetime ago, back when I watched TV and wrote survey questions for the worst company on the planet (before it got bought by Nielsen).  Anyhoo, season 4 finale tonight.  Time flies when you’re ignoring sh*tty TV.

Being the Sexiest (BBC American) — “Two British women investigate what it takes to be considered sexy.”  Golly, I wonder?

40 Greatest Pranks 2 (VH1) — If you’ve already shown the 40 greatest pranks, then the next 40 pranks you show by definition aren’t the 40 greatest pranks.  Nice work, VH1.  Way to combine the lack of imagination of a list with the lack of imagination of a sequel to make something that makes absolutely no sense.  Choke yourselves.

Made (MTV) — An idiot teenager with identity issues asks a television network to help him find acceptance by teaching him to be something he’s not.

Bones (Fox) — I wasn’t gonna write anything about this episode, but dude: Mötley Crüe is gonna be on tonight.  Check the video below.
