One of the shows in ABC’s fall lineup is “Eastwick,” the remake of the musical remade from the movie remade from the novel by John Updike (my previous artistic rendition here). Starring Rebecca Romijn as Roxie, Lindsay Price as Joanna, and Jamie Ray Newman as Kat, it tells the story of three women in a New England town with magical powers. It’s wicked pissah!
Until today, Roxanne, Kat and Joanna didn’t get along because of their preconceived notions of each other. Roxanne was the flaky artist, Kat was a doormat wife and mom, and Joanna the uptight local reporter. But after a weird encounter in the park coupled with a few margaritas, these three have suddenly become fast friends. Now, a mysterious stranger’s arrival in town will bring them even closer and test them in ways they’d never imagined. Daryl Van Horne is an irresistible package of wealth, charisma and bad boy sex appeal… [And] he’s unleashing their supernatural powers. But by igniting their heart’s desires, he might just be opening Pandora’s box. [ABC]
So, yeah. It’ll probably be canceled by mid-season (Jimmy Kimmel was right!), but at least I’ve got a whole bunch of promos and stills to look at. Huzzah! Lindsay Price in sexy librarian gear! Rebecca Romijn’s maternity boobs! Jamie Ray Newman… uh, which one is she? The pale redhead? Yeah, her too.

I’m there.
Lindsay Price IS hot, no denying. But that nose job annoys the shit out of me. I can’t stand a honker like Sarah Jessica Parker’s, but there are far too many of those little Teri Hatcher upturned low-cartilage hackjobs on faces all over Hollywood.
For a show like this, historical accuracy is important. And so, I hope the writers end each episode with the coven engaged in a traditional lesbian orgy.
So, which one is Pandora?
As long as there is projectile vomiting I’m there!!
