Well, maybe they’ll doing something original with the show, because this is probably the most unoriginal, cliched premise of all time. Can’t tell you how many Raymond Chandler wannabe writers I’ve come across or how many times I’ve heard this idea pitched. Whoever came up with this premise has all the originality of a teenager mooning out a bus window. I can’t believe HBO fell for this story, what a tired idea.

Rushmore is one of my favorite movies, but I have a really hard time looking at Jason Schwartzman. His impossibly conditioned hair freaks me out. For fuck’s sake guy, what do you brush it 1000 times on each side before you go to bed every night in your pretty pretty princess tower?
