“When we brought back Family Guy several years ago, everyone said that it was a once in a lifetime thing — that canceled series stay canceled and cannot be revived,” 20th Century Fox TV Chairmen Gary Newman and Dana Walden said in a joint statement.

But we’re FOX and don’t follow logic, so we’re just going to do it anyways.

Alright, now why did that work and the long ass comment I meant to publish not? Does Uproxx have some word limit for a comment?

Well anyway, I disagree on the quality of the films (BBS and BG=okay, BWABB=Star Wars Prequels, ITWGY=Excellent), but I am happy to have the series back.

Long Live Futurama (or another 4 seasons if The Simpsons is any indication on when quality will drop)!

Futurama is, in many ways, better than the Simpsons (there, I said it). The writing tends to be wittier and more intelligent. “All I want is to be a monkey of moderate intelligence who wears a suit… that’s why I’m transferring to business school!”
