I was gonna have keyboard cat playout ‘the loneliest runner’ but whats the point now.
To be fair their budget did stretch to some some natty fedoras and raincoats in the “Private Eyes” video and some obligatory 80s dry ice in the “I Can’t Go For That”; or they’d set fire to the studio and weren’t leaving till they got their money’s worth.
/just spent the last half hour looking for a Hall & Oates video not shot in the same windowless black walled room. Didn’t find one.
They spent all of their video budget on mustache wax for Oates.

I remember Craig talking about this on his show a year or so ago, he said he was on his way to commit suicide when the bartender offered him a free drink. He said he entered rehab shortly afterward figuring being diverted from suicide by the prospect of a free drink was probably a sign of alocholism
