The biggest laugh of the day so far comes courtesy Jonathan Charles of the BBC, who rushed into the evening’s top news story perhaps a bit too quickly. I think he should do a similar sign-on every day. “This is BBC World News Today. I’m Jonathan Charles the result of a massive oil spill that killed thousands of baby seals.” “I’m Jonathan Charles forced into sexual slavery as a child.” “I’m Jonathan Charles the man who committed three gruesome murders.”

I’m Johnathan Charles the man behind the 9/11 attacks….
I think he needs to take it to the next level, actually: full stops.
Instead of saying “period” maybe you could say “full stop”, like the people who invented the GD language.
@MC Hammer: I considered that, but if I’d put “periods” in place of “commas” in the headline, the message would have been very different.
Here’s another good one. Same concept.

Actually, “periods” are more important than you think. A comma there would not have been appropriate.

I’m Ron Burgundy?
“I’m Jonathan Charles a gay British man”
/redundancy
“Im Jonathan Charles the man who smacked someone else’s toddler in a Wal-Mart”
“I’m Jonathan Charles the alleged boyfriend of Tila Tequila”
“I’m Jonathan Charles the winner of Joe Francis’s search for the hottest girl in America…”
