Last night’s re-premiere of “Glee” was a special “director’s cut” of the pilot episode, which is the same thing as the pilot but with an extra two-minute scene shoe-horned in. And here’s the two-minute scene: Spanish teacher/choir director Matthew Morrison gettin’ all reflective on his life while he breaks out an acoustic jam of “Leavin’ on a Jet Plane.”
We’ve (okay: I’ve) now been talking about one episode of “Glee” for the last five months now, and one thing is clear after the first episode: pop songs are going to get used totally out of context, and viewers will ignore that fact because it’s a beloved song performed well. But whatever! I just love Peter, Paul, and Mary so much! It works on so many levels!

Too bad the music was a 12 string guitar, but he was holding a 6 string….OOPS!!
PP&M covered that song. Leavin’ on a Jet Plane was originally a John Denver song. Which is hilarious.
Eh. Needs more ukulele.
I’ve been looking forward to seeing what they do with Queen’s “Somebody To Love.” I suppose that makes me sound gayer than a semen-encrusted mustache.
I just love Peter, Paul, and Mary so much!
That’s why Mrs. Morris bought Zach their poster!
