Flash Forward (ABC) — Series premiere. Judging by the first 18 minutes and the opinion of pretty much everyone on the Internet, this is gonna be really good. All the cool kids will be watching this tonight.
It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia (FX) — The gang takes a road trip to the Grand Canyon. The previews have all made me laugh.
The Mentalist (CBS) — Season premiere. A crime procedural on CBS? You don’t say. This show is a huge hit for some reason; one of these days I’ll actually try to sit through an episode to determine if it’s actually good or if America is just being retarded again.
Grey’s Anatomy (ABC) — Season premiere. *fart sound*
Community (NBC) — Tonight’s second episode marks the debut of Ken Jeong as Senor Chang. Dammit, after six months of doing this job and not having to watch the crap that was on TV, it’s frustrating to actually have to stay in and watch it now.
Ultimate Factories (NatGeo) — This is why I love the “What’s on Tonight” feature. Do I want to ignore “CSI” and “The Office” so I can point out that there’s a show called “Ultimate Factories”? Yes. Yes I do.

Watched Flash Forward and was not impressed, it was like watching a really bad movie of the week!
Just watched Flash Forward, and noticed something strange… Skip to about 19:19. Is that an uncredited Seth McFarlane, or just someone who could be his facial/vocal twin?
Community is seems to be trying way too hard. The characters are cliched. The dialog is predictable and unfunny. I’m quite disappointed given all the hype. I know it’s only 2 episodes in. I’m going to keep watching and see if it turns around.
What’s not to like about Community? Ken Jeong’s reaction to McHale and Chase’s presentation was hilarious. Was I really, really high? Yes, but it was hilarious nonetheless.
Strike two on Kenny Powers…let’s see how he blow this last comment.
BTW…used to be a fan of Entourage.

So far Community has been fucking awful. Disappointing.
This is typical of an Internet critique: all bluster, no substance. “Community” is, in fact, outstanding. Well-written, well-acted, careful characterization, and it’s got a heart to balance out the selfishness of Joel McHale’s character.
Huh, I thought Community was hilarious. Already one of my favorite running shows. Not exactly sure what you were originally expecting, Felchy, for your assumed anticipation of the show to turn to complete disgust. All I know is that I’m going to be fucking pissed if it gets canceled and The Office II (aka Parks and Recreation) gets renewed for another season.

FF was decent it has the potential to be great but they should have a set number of episodes planned like 60-80ish so it doesn’t become junk. Lost became half decent again once they knew when the end would happen.
I didn’t think the FF premiere was blow-away, but it’s got my attention until it gets cancelled or until it runs its course, whatever comes first. Lemme tell you though, the visuals are stunning. Props on that.
I totally forgot Louis CK was going to be on Parks and Recreation. He killed it at the end there. How many eps is he in this season?

The Mentalist is popular because Simon Baker (teh star) is “charming” and generally charismatic (no homo). The show is just another lame murder of the week show but throw a good leading man in there and America gets sucked in.
