Sweet, I thought I was alone in my deep-seeded disdain for Mormons. And indeed Krakauer’s book was a strong catalyst. I mean, I always knew I didn’t like them, but his book finally gave me several good reasons.

I enjoy 2/3′s of modern family but can’t stand the gay couple. I find everything thing they do just fits stereotypes and is awkward.

Hey Bernd – I noticed that on CSI:NY too and came online to see if I was just a bit to sleepy and imagined it, or if it was real. Like their trying to give the impression the show is live. Pretty cool, though.

I have to disagree on Krakauer. He’s a self important dickhole. Watch the Iconoclasts episode where him and Sean Penn suck each other off while talking out of their asses about how ‘amazing’ an adventure that one idiot hippy had while killing himself.

Something odd just now coming out of the commercial break of CSI NY:

The segment began with one of their usual jerky moving mid-air shots of the New York skyline. One of the buildings featured was the Empire State Building, featuring an unusual red-yellow-red lighting pattern at its top.

The odd thing is: That unusual lighting is exactly what the ESB is “wearing” tonight out here in the real world.

Coincidence, or do the CSI producers somehow manage to plan this kinda thing?

You know, I just realized this morning while groggily viewing a promo for “The Middle”: this show is a ripoff of Malcolm In The Middle, and not just a ripoff of the last two words of said show. At the very least, I can tell that the mother and the youngest child are carbon copies of Lois and Dewey, and Neil Flynn’s character seems fairly similar to Hal. From what I’ve seen, the only substantial difference is that the focus isn’t on one of the children who’s constantly speaking to the camera. Also, Chris Kattan’s in it. That’s not meant to make a connection, just an indication that it’ll be fucking terrible.
