I’ve lost count of how many times Curb has made fun of Jews. Also Muslims (Season 5), the handicapped, blind, Christian Scientists, gays, lesbians, politically correct liberals, mentally retarded, the obese, Korean dog-eaters, Prius drivers, bestiality, blacks, Tourettes, the elderly, sex offenders… it would be easier to make a list of groups the show HASN’T skewered. And every one of them would have equal justification to put up a fuss as to how they’ve been portrayed. Curb is an equal-opportunity offender. Maybe fundamentalist Christians think they’re above humor. This is America. If you don’t like it, change the channel.

You lefties will never get it. I love Curb Your Enthusiasm and happen to be Jewish, but there is no doubt that this was an insulting scene. You guys are ready to hang the first person who says anything remotely negative about blacks, American Indians, or any other Democratic constituent group (fighting against Rush Limbaugh, for example, to get part ownership of a football team because of an inocuous comment he made about Donovan McNabb), but cannot see the hypocritical stand you’re taking here. Doesn’t matter if the urine is fake or real, dummies! It was an insult, plain and simple…I saw the episode! Oh, and by the way, virtually all terrorists are Muslim, although I’m sure you guys are searching around for some good Catholic terrorists who cut off heads of infidels!

Wow. Really? Christians are freaking out about this? I love Jesus and try to emulate His life. I believe He’s the risen Son of God and I don’t find this offensive at all. In fact it’s funny! It’s social commentary! A lot of Christians are crazy! Tears are salty like urine! I get it! Jokes! Exclamation marks! Everybody wins!

Just keep me in mind when you blanket all ‘Christians’ as right-wing-nuts (wing-nuts!) in the future, because loving Jesus doesn’t always mean ignorant, unloving republicans who ‘hate gay people’ (Fact: Jesus loves gay people). Also, 2.4 billion? Get real. Maybe in lip-service only, but narrow is the path, right? Saying “I’m a christian” doesn’t mean anything if you don’t actually seek the Lord. And Nader, I get it, you’re passionate, but also what? Scott was kind of right for calling you out for being judgmental. Love of Christ, anyone? Anyone? Bueller?
