‘MST3K’ PUMPKIN FOR THE HALLO-WIN

This is outstanding: a jack-o-lantern cut to resemble a scene from “Mystery Science Theatre 3000.” Not that I’m some grand connoisseur of jack-o-lanterns, but I think it’s pretty inventive to cut into the front and back of the pumpkin to add depth. Well done, pagan holiday pumpkin sculptor.
For anyone who was either too young, too lame, or too busy doing heroin to Mother Love Bone in the ’90s to be familiar with “MST3K”: you missed out. My love for this show will continue to my death bed. A guy and two robots making fun of old sci-fi movies was strangely addictive to me as a teenager, and it ended up being a huge influence in shaping my sense of humor. So I guess you have them to blame for all of this. *waves hands around website*

MST3K rocked! And yes, Rifftrax is great. Joel is now with TV’s Frank, Dr. F and some others at Cinematic Titanic as well. They do what MST3K used to do.
check out rifftrax.com. It’s the spiritual successor to MST3K. You buy an audio track and play it while you watch the movie. Unfortunately, no outlines of Mike and the Robots in the picture

I always love the irony of SyFy and Comedy Central cancelling MST3K and replacing it with the kind of lame movies that Joel/Mike, Crow & TS would make fun of.
UMMMM hey guys….MST3K is still around. The original stars started a website called RiffTrax. They record an mp3 of themselves while watching modern movies. Then you buy the mp3 of the site and play it in sync with the movie. They put out a couple a week and do almost all new releases. Plenty of guest stars on there too.
Is the movie still impossible to find on DVD? I managed to get that shit on my DVR so I stopped looking, but I couldn’t find it for years.
They must’ve spent tens of dollars on this.

/was always strangely curious why Joel created a female robot named “gypsy” that appeared to be made from a vaccuum.
So, i feel the need to ask, when are the guys from MST3K gonna replace the talking heads that are currently in the MNF booth? I think it would be an improvement, and make games like this past weeks Eagles/Redskins game actually watchable.

Imagine what they could do today with all of Michael Bay’s horseshit.
MST3K was pure genius.
I often wish for the three talking heads and the running commentary for CBS TV shows, Fox News, baseball games, and any reality tv show – basically, if it’s insufferable it should have the three talking heads and running commentary.
That’s weird; I always blamed bourbon for this website.
