DVR’d Modern Family last night, and I have a question for those who have already watched it – will I enjoy it more if I’m drunk or sober?

/already enjoys it a lot.

I’m definitely not saying Community is beaten yet. There’s always hope for an asshole main character. And Chevy Chase’s song at the end of the last episode absolutely killed me.

I’d give Dunham three weeks until cancellation, but everything else on Comedy Central is so bad, this might actually be a ratings bonanza for them.

If Mind of Mencia can survive 4 seasons on Comedy Central, this steaming load might last a season. I can’t believe in the year 2009 a ventriloquist gets a TV show. I saw the trailer, the guys lips fucking move like he’s Howard Cosell, which just makes him an asshole with a puppet on his lap.

And you may be right about American Chopper being the least idiotic thing on the network, which is sad when one constantly hears the phrase, “youz guyz, I got an idear.”

Better Off Ted is funnier than Modern Family.

Only slightly, but since I work at a defense company, the humor hits much closer to home.

I guess humor really is relative.

That ventriloquist show will be god awful. But it’ll stay on the air for a few seasons at least.

Believe it or not, that untalented assclown was the third highest grossing comedian of the past year. No, seriously. #1 is Jerry Seinfeld. #2 is Chris Rock. And #3 is this mouth-moving mouthbreather with the black pimp puppet.

I’m going to have to disagree. Modern Family feels a little forced to me. Community is amazing, and tonight’s episode might have been the best yet.

I was wondering if Matt was being facetious because I’ve been considering giving this show a go.

I guess you didn’t like it, Matt, but what did Everlast and DJ Lethal think?

Why must we pit Community and Modern Family against each other? We should consider them allies against awful television and celebrate both. Here’s hoping scripted television continues to improve and regains control of the dial!
