ANOTHER FAMILY GUY STAR WARS THING
11.27.09This is the trailer for the second installment of “Family Guy’s” retelling of the Star Wars franchise, a spoof of The Empire Strikes Back called “Something Something Something Dark Side.” You probably remember “Blue Harvest,” the Episode IV spoof that kicked off Season 6 of “Family Guy” two years ago. And if you don’t, meh, you didn’t miss all that much — a couple funny gags that will appeal to people who grew up on Star Wars.
That’s my early assessment of this one, too. A Star Wars spoof is neither timely nor necessary, but that doesn’t automatically mean it’s bad. Once again, I simply have no strong feelings either way for Seth MacFarlane. He’s just a hustler making millions of dollars, and I’d do the exact same thing if I could paste throwaway gags about pop culture into mimeographs of the same show. Haters to the left, y’all.

“I’d do the exact same thing if I could paste throwaway gags about pop culture into mimeographs of the same show.” Ummm, you can’t even paste a joke into your blog. And posting a blog on issues about which you have no strong feelings? Idiot.
Get off MacFarlane’s nuts, C-bag.
You care so little that you posted it. Stop being a douche and admit it, you find Seth’s stuff funny. And you are amazingly jealous because you don’t have the drive to do the same.
McFarlane made a really funny show for a couple of years, then realized he could just farm it out to a bunch of manatees and get filthy rich. I think he’s a lot better as the talent, not the creative.
The Robot Chicken Star Wars special, in which McFarlane participated of course, ate Family Guy’s lunch (I still retell the story of poor architect Ponda Baba). I laughed a total of twice at the Family Guy special. I WAS NOT ENTERTAINED.

Left to the center, MARCH!!
If everyone’s on the left, can it still be considered “to the left”?
Yep.
/joins crowd to the left, assuming “indifferent” is going with the haters.
*following Burnsy*
To the left I go then.
