‘BURN NOTICE’ GETS A FOURTH SEASON

USA has renewed “Burn Notice,” granting the show a fourth season after its strong performance this past summer. The news comes from Variety, which is far too annoying to quote verbatim, so I recommend you just take my word for it.
In case you’re unfamiliar with the show — and I don’t blame you, because who watches USA? — it’s surprisingly not bad at all. It uses the winning combination of “spy + attractive women + filmed in Miami + Bruce Campbell.” The only thing that equation is missing is “HBO” and “gratuitous sex scenes.” I know, I know: me and my gratuitous sex scenes. That’s my solution for everything. You seem skeptical, but it would really liven up health care reform.

Well written. Great cast. Terrific plot lines. This show would never make it on NBC.

I don’t know whether it’s hilarious or sad that USA has more attractive one-hour shows than NBC.
With Burn Notice, Monk and Psych, USA has a surprisingly good lineup.
In Plain Sight is pretty solid too.

White Collar was better when I thought it had Ted Raimi in it.

This show would be better if they took out the Bruce Campbell and added some Wayne Campbell.
