Last night’s episode of “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia” was the long-awaited episode featuring Kitten Mittens, the product endorsed by Charlie in a Season 5 preview back in August. And it didn’t disappoint: it was the season’s best episode so far, combining a unified plot with hilarious gags as the gang looks for ways to cash in on merchandising for Paddy’s Pub.
As usual, Charlie was the star for me, slipping into his idea of legalese with lines like “I’ll just regress, because I feel I’ve made myself perfectly redundant” and introducing a new unit of time called the “fork night.” Of course, his highlight was the show’s cold open: his minute-long ad for Kitten Mittens (watch here) that sparks the gang’s idea for the episode’s story line. Chazz_Goodtimes is correct. Intervention was far and away the best episode of the season, and probably one of the five best “Sunny”s ever.
“The League” was strong too — not nearly as insanely LOL hilarious as “Sunny” but it’s very easy to relate to if you’re a young married guy.
Am I the only one who feels that that lawyer character brings down every episode he’s in? The various products the Gang came up with were great, but that lawyer guy seriously hampers any episode he’s in.
The blond with the tits is Heather from Rock of Love. It seems that FX wasnt willing to pay her any money other than to sit around and look whorish. I guess VH1 had to shell out out some more money for her to talk.

Great episode but I vote for intervention as best of the season so far…. also I may be on board with The League but they need to lose the guy from Human Giant along with the singer and pick up two guys who are actually funny.
