NICK SWARDSON SKETCH SHOW
11.03.09Comedy Central has signed Nick Swardson to his own weekly, half-hour sketch show of digital shorts, animations, and man-on-the-street segments. Lauren Corrao, programming president of Comedy Central, had this to say:
“We love Nick at Comedy Central and even more importantly, our audience loves Nick. We’ve seen it in his movies, his stand-up, with his ‘Reno 911!’ character ‘Terry,’ and in the work he’s done developing Gay Robot [Ed.- video below]. We can’t wait to expand his creative voice into a sketch series.” [THR]
She added, “We also love the little pet pig he made out of a pink gum eraser and four push pins, and we love his laugh and his neckbeard, and gee his hair smells terrific.”

An Ed Hardy shirt once got me laid. That is, if you call jerking off in the Ed Hardy Tiger’s mouth “getting laid” which I happen to.
I dunno, that shirt is awfully close to Ed Hardy territory (is it a rip-off? Isn’t that even worse?)
Taste it. Ha, ha, good times.
If you are consistently the only person who can make Thomas Lennon and Kerry Kenny-Silver break character, you are doing something right.
Why not just make it a Terry and Gay Robot series? Fuck everything else. Rotate Terry and Gay Robot skits and you’ve got a hit that would make the retards of America would jizz in the pants. … Wow, I’m sure glad there are no gay people around here.
Not sure how is as a stand up but his line from Grandma’s boy, “Did I break the game?” has become my go-to for every time I win convincingly at anything (fantasy football, madden, beirut, cornhole, etc).
Unfortunately, for every Nick Swardson show we get, we’ll get five more Jeff Dunhams.

About time they did something with Gay Robot. It’s only been in development for like three years.
Needs more rollerskates.
David Spade + Dane Cook = Nick Swardson.
The numbers don’t lie.
