This is a real person who has died leaving his real fiancee (my friend) mourning her loss very intensely and very freshly. I understand the need to joke and make light, but please spare a thought for the real people who are affected by tragedies such as this. My friend is still carrying his baby. They were very much in love and made very real plans for a beautiful future together. Unfortunately, a life was cut short and other lives are acutely affected.

I have just been on one of Anton’s safari’s and met the BBC crew filming the show. It was an awful accident but he died doing what he loved.
