Because of the timing of the crazy Tiger Woods story (it broke on the Friday after Thanksgiving), Wanda Sykes was actually the first late-night host to address it on her show Saturday night. And while I tend to think Sykes is about as funny as Nazis gassing little Jewish yarmulke-wearing kittens, I have to give her credit for her interpretation of the events, which seems to be spot-on even before more details came out on Sunday. Also, I’d be remiss to not highlight this joke of hers:

“The black in him bought the Cadillac and the Asian in him crashed it.”

Not the best execution, but I appreciate the use of two stereotypes in the same joke. But when you’ve got a multiracial guy like Tiger, why stop at two racist stereotypes? She could have added that the rich white guy in Tiger was the one cheating on his wife, or that his Thai roots gave him a late-night craving for ladyboys.
