This is Jimmy Fallon as Neil Young covering the theme to “The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air” on last night’s “Late Night,” and I’ll be honest: Fallon’s impression is so good that I didn’t even realize it wasn’t Neil Young until they cut to a close-up. It almost makes me kind of mad, because I feel like Fallon was holding out on us when he was on “Saturday Night Live.” He doesn’t even come close to breaking character, and — as reader Wade R. notes –  this might be on par with John Belushi as Joe Cocker.

So: nice work, Fallon. Golf clapping from me. You’re still in the hole for Taxi, but you’re moving in the right direction. Another five years of stuff like this and I could probably even forgive Fever Pitch.
