The video below is amazing, for two reasons: (1) it’s the first non-Zach Galifianakis video from Funny or Die that actually made me laugh out loud in longer than I can remember, and (2) the cast of “Jersey Shore” is slowly, weirdly becoming — God, I really don’t want to write this — likable to me.
That’s ridiculous. The “Jersey Shore” Guidos are some of the shallowest people in the world of reality television — no small feat — and they’re also embracing a stereotype that an overwhelming percentage of the country perceives as negative. And yet I can’t help but be charmed by their honesty and bad acting and willingness to go along with the joke. Try as I might, I can’t hate these fake-tanning anti-intellectual Guido douchebags. Except Angelina. That hatin’ bitch can die in an electrical fire.
