THIS ALMOST MAKES UP FOR JEFF DUNHAM
12.16.09One of my favorite new shows this year has been “Tosh.0,” so Comedy Central taking its sweet time to renew Daniel Tosh’s web-centric show has been frustrating. But there’s good news for people who laugh at videos of fat people falling down, because Tosh just got PAID.
The comedian has signed an overall deal with Comedy Central that includes the largest single-season episode order for a series in the network’s history. “Tosh.0″ is coming back for 25 episodes, with the premiere set for Jan. 13.
In addition, Tosh is partnering with Comedy Central on a one-hour stand-up special, DVD, CD and national stand-up tour. [THR]
Awesome. Obviously, I’m biased because I make fun of TV on the Internet and he makes fun of the Internet on TV, and I know that everyone has different tastes in humor, but “Tosh.0″ makes me laugh harder and more often than any other show on TV. Is it the vomiting? I think it’s the vomiting.

“Concept and execution of the show is spot on, but Tosh himself is terrible.”
are you crazy? tosh makes the show.
Concept and execution of the show is spot on, but Tosh himself is terrible.
Now that the show is in HD is it easier for you to masturbate?
ALMOST makes up for Jeff Dunham. He (Dunham) still needs to die in a fire, as does everyone responsible for green-lighting his show.
But yeah, go Tosh!
In short, Comedy central now owns Tosh’s ass
Anyone else remember him from 10′s.
I was scared that Tosh.0 would suck, as a Soup fan, I have been disappointed with the various flavors of Soup. Sports Soup is/was an abortion. Web Soup was pretty good but Tosh.0 is far superior. Glad to see that he got his due, his standup is pretty good as well.
Is this the season they introduce Cousin Oliver?
Not seen: Ufford buying Tosh a bucket of cool whip.
In an effort to boost ratings, Tosh will also be teamed with a wise-crackin’ puppet.
Now hopefully he can wear something a little less gay than a cardigan.
I can’t believe it took so long for this. It seems like a no-brainer to me. Even if it doesn’t get good ratings (I really don’t know if it does), this can’t cost more than $5 an episode to produce.
