Back in August, I wrote about “Death Comes to Town,” a new series from Kids in the Hall that will air on Canada’s CBC. I was excited to hear about it back then, and I’m even more excited-er today now that I’ve seen the new trailer for it (video embedded below). It looks like everything you would expect want from the Kids: all the ridiculous gags and little comedic details and men dressed as women you could possibly want. And who doesn’t like men dressed as women, am I right? Fellas? Hello?

Hockey is for the kids who aren’t funny but they hit too hard to let them know. So they’re caged in ice as to not escape and given sticks to knock each other out. Then rick mercer takes over the country.
I’m disappointed to see only a microsecond of Dave Foley, but otherwise that totally made my day. And Scott Thompson’s skin looks terrific!
Not only that, but Scott Thompson is writing a graphic novel called “Husk”, which I just finished illustrating. Needless to say, a dream project if there ever was one. There’s not much more than a blog post about it over on the publisher’s website (frozenbeachstudios.com) at the moment, but expect to hear about more soon enough, comic nerds!
Oh..and Gammasquad feed is fine too.

I know Foley and McDonald in were in the clip, but it seems like the other three are going to be featured quite disproportionately.
