Two guys recreated the opening credits of “Perfect Strangers” shot for shot, only they used Seattle as a backdrop instead of Chicago. Now, I’m predisposed to like this — I’m from the outskirts of Seattle, went to college near Chicago, and enjoyed “Perfect Strangers” as a kid — but there’s no arguing about the exacting level of detail that went into this. I can’t even imagine how much time went into scouting the right locations and re-shooting every scene to get everything just right — all so their 1:15 Internet video looked good. But whatever, it was worth it. For me, I mean. They wasted boatloads of time.
