What with Oscar nominations dominating entertainment headlines, there’s not much going on in television news today besides the “Lost” premiere, so let’s just go ahead and keep making fun of “Lost” and its fans, who behave like “Battlestar Galactica” geeks but lack the skepticism or knowledge of the laws of physics.

This short clip from 5-Second Films spoofs the writing process for “Lost,” and I absolutely love it. When I watch “Lost,” I always get the feeling that the writers were so enamored with making up crazy and mysterious stuff early on in the series that they never bothered to come up with a reasonable explanation for everything. I don’t know, maybe this final season will prove me wrong. Or maybe… CHOCOLATE!
