As an aficionado of cheap, puerile humor, I always enjoy a good “That’s what she said” joke. The phrase has gone from “Wayne’s World” to tired irrelevance to ironic re-relevance thanks to Michael Scott’s overuse of it on “The Office.” In this Funny or Die sketch, Megan Mullally and Thomas Lennon (of “Reno 911!” and “The State”) create a history in which “That’s what she said” originated from a single slutty chick. Basically, it’s four minutes of different variations of the joke, and I therefore love it. Trust me, you don’t get the career I’ve had without dealing with a lot of genitals.

@ Burnsy
I’m right behind you. Wait, not like that.
/that’s what he said.
Isn’t ‘slutty chick’ kind of redundant?
Making Packer (David Koechner) a permanent character would help The Office.
They fucked The Office up by giving everyone new jobs. It just doesnt work as well as it used to(That’s what she said)
Maybe I’m revealing too much about my awesome self, but for some reason Megan Mullally has always done it for me. I’m just sayin’… I’d throw it in her.
I haven’t said anything because nobody’s spoken to me first.
Oh and agree on The Office but 30 Rock hasn’t been all that great this year either. I still watch both but I get more laughs out of Community, Archer, Sunny and even The League and Parks & Recreation.
wwsm,
You left out the colon.
That’s what she said!
Good stuff- I’ll watch pretty much anything with Thomas Lennon- and pretty much all of The State Alum (except Michael Ian Black- dude comes off like a douche whenever I’ve heard him interviewed.
@Enrico: my friends and I all call 30 Rock “30RTSFPWRTTOIAPOS” for short. It makes it easier that way.
EP: I feel the same way about The Simspons, not funny anymore. I’ve stopped watching. I still think The Office funny, but not as funny as Parks and Rec, Modern Family, and Archer right now is in a league of its own.
@Enrico: Yeah, I’ve stopped watching The Office. My DVR records it, and then I go through my shows and I’m like, “Hmmm, I guess I’ll watch Archer a second time.”
I can’t be the only one that finds The Office awful, am I? Actually, 30 Rock should be called, “30 Rock: The Show For People Who Realize That The Office Is A Piece Of Shit”. I think it’s catchy.
