‘UGLY BETTY’ CANCELED. GOOD.
02.01.10Good news, everyone! The present season of “Ugly Betty” will be its last. This news comes from breathless retard Michael Ausiello, who constantly provides breaking news and SPOILER ALERTS about this crappy show that no one watches.
ABC has just informed Ugly Betty producers that the show’s current fourth season will be its last. What’s more, the network has trimmed Betty’s episode order from 22 to 20.
Although not a complete shock given the show’s heinous ratings, the news is nonetheless a total bummer [not really -Ed.] — particularly in light of Betty’s creative resurgence this season.
The good news is that ABC has given Betty’s bosses enough time to craft a satisfying series finale [everyone dies?].
Just so we’re all on the same page here: “Ugly Betty” is about an unattractive girl with terrible fashion sense who works for a fashion magazine. Sorry, but if I wanted to see an unrealistic portrayal of a dying industry, I’d draw pictures of heterosexual steel workers.

@DerekLutz
your point of view might have a tad more credibility if you knew that accept and except are not the same word.
Love it or hate it, this show was created as a tele-novela, not intended for a multi-season run. American TV cannot except the concept that not all shows were intended for hundreds of episodes, well, except for “Hank”. That show was supposed to be six episodes, right?
***CONTRARIAN VIEWPOINT***
My wife watches Ugly Betty, and I can sit through an entire episode without wanting to vomit like I do during one of the many Doctors Fucking(TM) shows. [Coming soon to ABC: Lawyers fucking! With even more ridiculous vagina-y dialogue!]
Point is, it’s not a half bad show. It reminds us of the timelessness of Vanessa Williams’ tits, and introduced me to Becki Newton, who is one of the more underrated hot women on TV. The plot is serviceable, if not great, and there’s occasionally funny stuff going on. Plus it’s not pretending to be a serious drama, unlike the actual serious dramas on ABC. There’s a lot worse on TV, and I have to belive a lot of the ratings failure is due to ABC constantly screwing with the time slot. They should keep it on their little ‘comedy Wednesday’ and cancel Cougar Town, which is just shit.
Also, thank you guys for reminding me the Simpsons was once funny.
“Hot stuff coming through”
More breaking news from Michael Ausiello: I love cocks in my mouth as I watch horrible TV! I don’t dislike you because you’re gay, I hate you because you get so excited! about terrible, horrible shit.
Would love to be in the conference room where they debated whether or not she was ugly enough on her own or if they needed to add the braces, glasses, etc. Tough town that Hollywood, tough town.
Thank you for the excellent Simpsons reference my good man.
Why would a Mexican name their daughter America? I bet she gives just awful bj’s.
So it’s canceled, but not until the end of this season? THAT’S NOT FAST ENOUGH!
“The good news is that ABC has given Betty’s bosses enough time to craft a satisfying series finale ”
I hope she gets those braces off; boy will everyone regret they called her ugly.

I liked this plot better when the “ugly” girl was Anne Hathaway wearing baggy clothes. “Ohmygod she’s hideous! What’s that? She’s in a dress now? Magnifique!!”
/straight…ish
Thank god. It’s been taking up way too much space on
mymy girlfriend’s DVR.Has that really only been on for four years?
Sorry, but if I wanted to see an unrealistic portrayal of a dying industry, I’d draw pictures of heterosexual steel workers.
Oh, be nice!
I’m pretty sure not a straight man alive ever watched this show and enjoyed it.
/watched one episode with my wife
//wife watched 2 episodes and decided that it sucked
