Oscars telecast (Sunday, E!/ABC) — I haven’t talked about this much because this is FilmDrunk’s wheelhouse, but it is, ya know, on TV. So fill out your predictions sheet, study up on the Oscars drinking game, and join me on Twitter to critique red carpet fash– er, I mean, the performance of hosts Steve Martin and Alec Baldwin.
Saturday Night Live (NBC) — At long last, Zach Galifianakis hosts with musical guest Vampire Weekend, which is a pretty serious-sounding name for a band that uses a steel drum. Watch the Chad Farthouse promo clips here.
Who Do You Think You Are? (tonight, NBC) — Series premiere. Everything I need to know about Sarah Jessica Parker’s family history I learned here.
Funny or Die Presents (HBO) — Man, I always forget I have HBO. Anyway, I’ve finally updated my DVR to record this and “The Ricky Gervais Show,” so maybe I can watch these while I’m staying in and drinking by myself. Whee!

I just caught the very last sketch of SNL with Zack as the father of a teen tiara beauty paegent contestant and holy lord is he funny.
i am watchin saturday night live as i type this. if SNL cant me me laugh when im stone cold hammered and high of my ass they should officially rethink what they are doing. i mean i laugh more while watching bizarre foods with andrew zimmern……
Watching Funny or Die is like watching a rim job. People say it’s good, but they’re people you really shouldn’t trust.
Also, how awesome is Abed/Danny Pudi, period?
Wow, I never was able to see the actual displeasure in Halle Barry’s face during that kiss until now…
EP, agreed. the first two episodes of “funny or die” have sucked.
How awesome was Abed as Don Draper.
Boy that Ricky Gervais show might be an all-time let down. British accents! Laughing! Wheee!
More like Unfunny or Die…but I did appreciate the floppy tits last week.
You should also record the Life and Times of Tim. Carry on.
