Anyone who watches NBC’s “Community” knows that the motley study group, having passed their Spanish class, will next year be taking anthropology together. And the anthropology professor will be played by beloved octogenarian Betty White.

Hot in Cleveland‘s hot mama will play anthro professor June Bauer, a highly esteemed, if not completely off-her-rocker, addition to Greendale’s already questionable teaching staff. [E! online]

For now, White’s only scheduled for one episode, and that seems wise. Don’t get me wrong, I adore Betty White just as much as everyone else. I just don’t think it’s wise to invest in a long-term contract with her. And by long-term I mean more than, say, four weeks at a time.
