The biggest reason I write about television is my passion for unremarkable but highly watched crime procedurals and teen pop stars. In fact, If there are two things that Warming Glow readers can’t get enough of, it’s “CSI” and Justin Bieber. On that note, good news, everybody! Justin Bieber is going to be on “CSI: Original Flavor”!

In his acting debut [sic - he acted on "SNL"], multi-platinum singing sensation Justin Bieber will guest star in the season premiere of the CBS Television Studios and Jerry Bruckheimer Television series, ‘CSI: Crime Scene Investigation’….

Bieber will play Jason McCann, a troubled teen who is faced with a terrible decision regarding his only brother — a decision that leads him into an explosive confrontation with the CSIs. It is the beginning of an emotional story that will conclude later in the season. [Fancast]

I think it’s really great what CBS is doing here. They clearly recognize how old and feeble their audience is, and they want some younger viewers. By doing this, “CSI” will unite generations of boring people. Stupid grandparents will finally have something to talk about with their stupid grandchildren.
