Sharktopus Trailer. That Is All.
07.16.10Here’s the trailer for the long-awaited Syfy original movie Sharktopus, directed by “King of B-Movies” Roger Corman.
It’s got everything you could want from a movie called Sharktopus, which is to say that there’s a shark-octopus hybrid. Everything else — the cheesy digital effects, the cheesy dialog, the cheesy surf soundtrack — is just gravy. Cheesy, cheesy gravy.
Oh great, now I’m hungry.

@Anthony WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOSH!!!
I’ve noticed that the internet has been having a collective nerdgasm over this movie. Why do people get so excited over shit like this? It’s a SyFy original–it’s guaranteed to be god-awful. The acting looks about as good as a second-rate porn, the special effects look terrible, and oh yeah: it’s a movie about a SHARK OCTOPUS.
Every party needs a pooper, and that’s why you invited me.
It’s half man, half bear-pig. No, no. It’s half man, half bear, half pig.
*tears up* I wish we could all get together and watch this….it’s amazing.
on second viewing, i realized that the song was about Sharktopus, as well. I want to be best friends with this movie.
And I agree, the bungie cord scene is great.
This is much better than I could have possibly imagined. Just wish it was in 3-D!
Sometimes, I get annoyed with SyFy, because their mostly crappy programming makes sci-fi look bad.
But I can’t hate this. This is glorious.
“Cheesy, cheesy gravy” is the official beverage of Indiana.
The bungie cord sequence might be the greatest thing ever filmed by Syfy.
I like that it’s just a succession of locales that are ideal for Sharktopus to get lunch.
Is Sharktopuss available at Carvel year round or only on St. Patrick’s Day?
Are you sure this isn’t the Elizabeth Berkley/Kyle MacLachlan Showgirls sex scene that you referenced yesterday? I mean 1:03-1:13 definitely is.
needs more bear
