John Slattery in character as Roger Sterling would be the only replacement judge that would make this watchable.

That reminds me of a funny story a recording engineer at a major studio told me once. He had friends who were recording Jennifer Lopez, and she is not that great of a singer. She laid down a vocal track, and it took three engineers 24 CONSECUTIVE HOURS of pitch fixing to make it sound like it did. She came in the next day after they had finished with all her friends and was like “See? It’s me singing!”

Long story short she banged everyone in the studio.
