When promoting a zombie movie or television series, there’s only so much excitement you can generate by showing off images of the zombies themselves. “Yup, that sure looks like a zombie.” “I must say, you made the flesh recede from the bone very convincingly there.”
Still, “The Walking Dead” is a fantastic comic series and has the potential to be yet another great AMC show. I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t pinning all my hopes and dreams of a better, more zombified world on its success.
After the jump is a video showing the process of casting and producing the “bicycle girl” zombie, which is the among the first the central character, Rick, encounters at the beginning of the story. Of course, the time-lapse footage depicting the three-and-a-half hour process of adding all the prosthetics to the actress could have been greatly aided by removing the big band background score. That is, unless the show is courting some Seth MacFarlane producing money.

Nice picture (who is who)
“which is the among the first the central character”
I don’t want to be a grammar nazi but uh, what was that supposed to say?
Remember when we made that extra go through that 5 hour make-up process for an effect that anyone with a few hundred bucks could accomplish on any Halloween weekend just so we could bang her townie ass all weekend long?
Takes slow pull off of a Pall Mall and adjusts his tie…………..”Yep”.
Bruce Vilanch! Wtf? Nice!
Did he steal that shirt from Bruce Vilanch?
If you screw a zombie without a rubber do you get zombie aids or something?
I bet she gives horrible, horrible head.
I’d hit it.
