Sadly, this did make the Kansas City KMBC-9 TV newscast, albeit in abbreviated form. The aired story just has a short sound-bite from the harpy above, and is mostly just interviews with the mumbling Mexican store-clerk (wearing a blu-tooth) and a conceal and carry expert named “Dick Hime” so it’s not without its charm, but the spin-off video above is the meat and potatoes of the story.
Just heard this on a KC radio station on the way home. Beautiful representation of the people that live here.
