Joel McHale went on “The Today Show” this morning to pimp tonight’s episode of “Community,” and in the first segment with Matt Lauer & Co. (watch that part here), McHale promised to break out the booze for the fourth hour with Hoda Kotb and Kathie Lee Gifford, a pair he frequently lampoons on “The Soup.”
And break out the booze he did: he popped open a new bottle of Macallan (delicious), and proceeded to make fun of Kathie Lee and Hoda to their faces:
Hoda: Why do you continue to make fun of our show?
McHale: Have you SEEN your show?
And when Kathie Lee tries to bail Hoda out…
Kathie Lee: She’s an Emmy-winning “Dateline” reporter!
McHale: WAS an Emmy-winning “Dateline’ reporter.

McHale is awesome on an epic level. He probably rode his own balls into the studio that day like in South Park, but instead of microwaving them he just reminded his balls that Hoda and Kathy would never remember it anyway.

@Smegga. Hoda Kotb parents are Egyptian and Hoda is a popular Arabic name. And she has said in Egypt it’s pretty much as popular as Sharon is here.
The show is still a trainwreck and Joel McHale is still awesome.
