Noir ‘Community’ Trailer
11.22.10There’s been a lot of love for “Community” here at Warming Glow — I’ve enjoyed the show from the start, but the praise has kicked into overdrive in recent weeks. So I’m going to dial it back a little to prevent reader fatigue, but before I do, here’s a video that presents last week’s episode (“Conspiracy Theories and Interior Design”) as a noir film (via showrunner Dan Harmon’s twitter). It’s pretty cool, even though there wasn’t much in that episode that felt noir. Although maybe that will give Harmon the impetus to write a noir episode. I’d watch Joel McHale pretending to be Philip Marlowe.
And while I’m emptying out my “Community fanboy” folder, here’s the spectrum of Good and Evil with the show’s characters. I’m not sure if I agree with the execution, but I admire the attempt. Kinda like Obama’s health care plan that way. Woo-hoo, let’s get our political flame war on!

There can never be enough “Community” love. Political flame war? Meh.
I agree that there can never be too much “Community” love (though perhaps there can be too many gifs). However, if you could do more posts about FX’s “The League”, which is really excellent this year, I would have something else to comment on. *Bats eyelashes seductively*
Neutral Good & Chaotic Good should be switched.
Funniest show on TV. one of the few that i watch twice.
