Preview of ‘Bob’s Burgers’ on Fox
11.30.10Here’s the trailer for “Bob’s Burgers,” a new animated series that will debut on Fox in January. It’s created by LorenBouchard (Comedy Central’s “Dr. Katz;” Adult Swim’s “Home Movies”) and features the voices of indie comedy darlings Kristen Schaal, Eugene Mirman, and the terrific H. Jon Benjamin (the star of “Archer,” which also returns in January). But what’s REALLY important to know about “Bob’s Burgers” is that Seth MacFarlane has absolutely nothing to do with it. Sa-WEET!

I’ll watch any show about burgers as long as Kenan Thompson is not involved.
But Keenan was a pioneer for this and all future Burger related ventures…When you think burger you think “Welcome to Good Burger, Home of the Good Burger, Can I take your order”
what sucks is that it is bumping American Dad most likely… and American Dad is 100X better than Family Guy or The Cleveland Show
Looks great. They really should have done a cartoon about Pizza Club*, though.

I may be firmly in the minority here, but I liked this a lot better with my eyes closed. There’s something about that animation style that really irritates me.
I’m down for a Pizza Club show. But the McGuirk, Walter and Perry version. Not the Brendon and his dad pizza club.
I give it 3 episodes before it’s cancelled.
I saw the pilot and it is horrible. I won’t watch anymore because I will ruin Archer for me.

Kristin Schaal sucks. Yes, she has a goofy voice. That voice is also annoying and only entertaining when combined with her goofy looks, like on the fantastic “Flight of the Conchords.”
Oddly enough, that extended trailer did a better job than the awful clips they air during FOX’s programming. But yes, Pete is right on. The animation is just awful and that’ll be really hard to get over.
