i’m sure nobody who reads this site saw it, and i can’t wait for the trolls to respond, but i’d like to throw out canada’s overtime win against the us for the hockey gold in vancouver as a contender for best moments.

Too bad everything after the Pilot of Walking Dead sucked balls. I can’t think of any show that has had a bigger drop off in quality from the pilot to the rest of its first season.
I suspect it’s only because no one talked in the pilot, and dialogue has proven to be Walking Dead’s weakest point.

another great list, but I’m surprised you didn’t include Hank vs. the Twins at the end of “One Minute” from Breaking Bad. By far the most tense thing i have ever seen on television (yes even more so than Stringer Bell and Bodie’s final scenes).

Not that anyone asked me, but the most hands down “OMFGBBQ” moment this year was when Walt White drove over two mexican dudes with a Pontiac Aztec to save Jesse’s life.
Not sure if that qualifies as a ‘moment’ or not.

The bottle episode of Community had two great moments: The reveal at the end that Annie’s Boobs was the culprit and was hoarding bric-a-brac and then, after it was leaked by the show or actually spotted by an eagle-eyed viewer, rewatching the start of the episode to see Annie’s Boobs’s hand actually take the pen.
The cat gag in the zombie episode.

I’d nominate a few things from Rubicon, but I’m the only one who watched that show. Otherwise, I’m down for about 80% of that list.

Although I loved “Mad Men” this season, the finale didn’t leave me floored. I, and I assume many viewers, called the proposal the moment his secretary hugged that little bitch he calls a daughter, and there was a “I’m going to be your new mom” moment.
